In most PT clinics care is provided from 0-4 to 6 months, which can get the patient back to running but not much beyond, because of their lack of open space, equipment, and insurance constraints. Also, when going to PT they are only treating the injured area which can leave you susceptible to a re-tear or a tear of the other ACL.
People have come to me and said physical therapy has become too easy and repetitive or insurance has run out and they end up doing basic rehab on their own or donโt do rehab at all. Insurance not covering any additional treatment leaves you in a vulnerable situation.

They could provide real-time feedback on the athlete's form and technique, ensuring exercises are performed correctly and safely. The coach may also discuss modifications to the exercises based on the athlete's feedback and progress.
Additionally, the coach might educate the athlete about the importance of rest, nutrition, and proper self-care during the rehab process. They could set realistic goals, track progress, and motivate the athlete to stay dedicated to their post- rehabilitation plan.
